Movin On Up relies on our experience to provide each client a stress free environment when transporting their antiques and fine art. Whether its moving canons for the National Park Service at Jockey Hollow, crating and transporting a Childe Hassam water color from New Jersey to New Hampshire for Nye and Company or boxing up a 1760 Salem dressing table in Houston, Texas and driving it up to Christies in New York, we know how to deal with each task because of the sheer volume of antiques and fine art that have passed through our gentle hands.
Behind every company that provides antique and art handling are the antique and art handlers themselves. We believe in quality and not quantity in our team of handlers. Each of our handlers has been vigorously trained on the job with real life situations. Each of our handlers knows the proper techniques to employ as well as the proper materials to use when transporting a clients Antiques or fine art.
Continuity is important to us. We want to have complete control over every aspect of our clients move. In that vein, we do our entire crate building in house. We take the measurements and build the crates to our own exacting standards. We also do all of our own trucking. No third party vendors. Your antiques and fine art are not transferred from truck to truck or truck to warehouse. We come to pack you up and then drive the truck ourselves to your final destination be it across town or across the country.
Each antique and piece of Fine art has its own needs. Each client also has their own needs. We customize each and every move to those needs.
